What if the new owner doesn’t want to continue with EFTPOS NZ?
If the new owner chooses a different provider, early termination fees may apply. We recommend including the EFTPOS contract in your business sale agreement to avoid this.
How long does the transfer process take?
We recommend starting at least two weeks before handover to ensure a smooth transition.
What if I don’t transfer the contract?
You’ll be responsible for any remaining contract obligations, including termination fees.
